Destination Wedding? with Canvas Corp Brands

Every now and again our DT Coordinator  at Canvas Corp Brands gives us some challenges . This month I liked the one about creating DIY Wedding invitations.

The trick was not something we would create just 2 or 3 but 50 or maybe even more then 100...

So I had an idea... 

I made these cards as an invitations or thank you cards.

Maybe "save a day" ?

First you starts from putting next to each other several cards and using gesso and stencil create a design on your cards.

Let it dry.

Then used Tattered Angels  mist in blue  over these cards.

Later when everything is dry you can add a mini shell and piece of burlap by Canvas Home Basics

Tattered Tangles papers are really hot these days but some of you may be shy to use them yet. My simple card was created with TA papers and mists to show you can have fun using these papers without spending lots of time while doodling.

If you want to give your card more "cute" then "artsy" look just make some attempts after having fun with mists and  creating your 3 steps card.

Mini canvas TWO OF YOU

Soft colors card for DT Canvas Corp

I hope you have a great weekend!
I made this card for Canvas Corp using products from all 3 brands; Tattered Angels, 7 Gypsies and B Canvas Home Basics

 I also created a mini 3 step by step tutorial with it.

First using gesso and stencil I created a texture on my card. Then using couple colors of mists I added light green and pink.

My next step was to add more white dots with stencils and gesso.
When everything was dry I kept my card under a big book overnight to keep it all flat.

The very next day my card was ready for additional canvas , tag and flowers.

Together card with Canvas Corp

Hi!

I have a card  made with products by Canvas Corp. Today you can see so many cards done by our DT.

I made this card for my Husband , liked this color combo a lot and I hope he will like it too.

I used Tattered Angels mists in Jack Frost and Bahama Blue   and Platinum High Impact Metallic .

The shine you see on my card is due to a look the paint creates, very nice and strong, not a bad lighting when taking photo :)

Black heart was made from 12x12 Canvas Sheet Black

I used stamp from 7Gypsies, several mist by Tattered Angels and chipboards from Wycinanka.
Pearls, feathers and lace came from my special box :)

GYPSY MOMENT WITH 7Gypsies

Hi!
The new collection by 7 Gypsies from Canvas Corp inspired me to create a canvas in very bright colors, mixing pink, red and purple and adding only a touch of blue.

First I was working on my canvas with gesso, stencils and modeling paste. Then I used Tattered Angels mists in several shades of pink, red and blue.

Beautiful printed paper with flowers came from Gypsy Moments.
These are Printed File Folders but you can use them as you wish :).Designed to mix and match these two - sided folders are perfect for housing recipe cards, photos, journaling cards , notes. Just perfect accessory to 7 Gypsises 4x6 inch vintage crates.

You can a dress from the photo is matching papers and I have to admit I have many great photos from one day so maybe next time I will create an album with Gypsy Moments?

GROWING UP LOVED , DT project for Canvas Corp

Today I have a new project made for Canvas Corp.

I don't use many of my own photos so  I was thinking about making a vintage page about me and my family. I like the old black and white photo but I went for kraft papers to match it, white lace and touch of green/brown from mists.

 I also used a tag from Canvas Corp, additional papers from 7Gypsies and new stencils with old stamps from Tattered Angels. Remember these 12x12 stamps? I really hope TA will make some new ones like this :)

Hand stitching and some pearls added more personal touch to my page. I can not wait to show it to my Mom.

I like to scrap  Summer photos ,  I do it even in Winter.
This time I have a photo from our beach , I used it for a new project for Canvas Corp where I used several  Tattered Angels mists in different shades of blue.

I started my page with paper from Canvas Corp,  I also added metal elements from 7 Gypsies 

I am addicted to stitching too!

I keep shells from the beach for my Summer projects. 

My lighthouse came from Scrap FX and I changed a look of a natural look with gesso, stencils and several mists and High Impact Paint .

INSPIRATION with 7 Gypsies

I have a new page made for and with 7 Gypsies.
I used collection great for Weddings - Harmony

My page is more about travelling and young Lady of course but if you are looking for a traditional papers for Wedding Harmony is a great choice.

I liked idea about having something blue so I added paper from older collection by 7 Gypsies /I know we all have these papers and I think it's so nice to mix them/,  blue flowers and parts of kraft papars by Canvas Home Basics, if you like them check much more HERE

I had to change colors of my flowers so I used Tattered Angels mists for it.

LOVE and HEART cards

Couple of weeks ago I went for a vacation and I took with me papers and pencils to make some cards.
I like shabby /romantic /distressed/ layers look but I really had fun with my Girl just coloring ready black and white papers from Tattered Angels

HOW TO BE CREATIVE with Canvas Corp

Hi!
Today I am going to share a project made for Canvas Corp
I love having a huge choice of products and colors while designing for this company.
There is also a need to challenge myself to use something different every month.
This time my inspiration came from a photo,  nothing new but  a dress from evening walk in Montreal was ASKING  for more RED

Working with strong colors and patterns was fun but I wanted to get softer look so I used white spray do to so.

I know I  will create more projects with red! I still have great papers and couple good photos.
