I have to tell you I am not a big fun of Autumn. Every year I am sad the Summer is over. I miss living in South Africa with 11 months of Summer, sandals, dresses and garden partys. My children want to move to Australia so maybe there is a chance for me too? :)
The very few things I like about Autumn are nice fresh fruits, apples like Pink Lady, walks on the beach with a nice weather and mushrooms hunting.
Anything else about me?
My golden rule?
Get inspired by everyone, but follow nobody. I
always try to find inspiration around me. I admire old things like doors, castles, frames, etc. I love
nature so the Baltic beaches, African bushes and color of the water in
Mexico or sky in Italy are important to me. I love fashion and therefore
the texture of new shoes or bag can be transformed on my canvas.
The biggest inspiration of all are my children. Wherever we go I take a
lot of photos. I tent to try to pause the moment to have the memory of
it in the form of a photo. Sometimes I buy a dress because I know it
will look good on photos:). It's why my Girl has so many dresses.
I
like to plan my projects but I also can get carry away very easy. I
hardly can find any harmony in my projects. I would even say there is
more chaos then I intend to make. I am very fussy about colors. I can
create with many of them or just create monochromatic pages . I always
try to match colors from the photo with my papers or mists. But then
every now and again when I want to I just change the colors …on my
photos.Or invent a new mist :).
I like to stitch on my pages and I love to use mists and masks.
I
am working on several project at the same time. Some of them are DT
work and I enjoy them a lot, some of them I start without knowing where
will I go with them. Every now and again they are published in the
scrapbooking magazines what is always a Big Thing for me.
Thanks to scrapbooking I have many new friends and I am very proud to know some of them personly.
I am always alone when I scrap and I hope to have more classes in the future to hang out with new scrapfriends.
I had so much fun last last weekend at Scrapfest and have new friends already.
I made my project with Autumn Song collection and I have to admit even my not favorites colors looks good all together here.

First was was working on my page with several stencils, stitching and misting.
I also used couple stamps from Prima and set of chipboards from Wycinanka.
