From little things big things grow, DT work for Scrap FX.

My new DT parcel from Scrap FX this month was full of farm oriented chipboards: fences, horses, cute frames etc. I started making two layouts at the same time since I could not decide what to do first:).

Moja ostatnia DT paczka z Scrap FX zawierała wiele elementów "prosto z farmy";ogrodzenia, konie, ramki z lasso itp. Zaczęłam robic dwa LO w tym samym czasie ponieważ nie mogłam sie zdecydować od czego zacząć.

Tym razem użyłam trzech elementów, ten pierwszy to napis “from little THINGS BIG things GROW”,

I used 3 chipboard pieces.

The first was a wordlet “from little THINGS BIG things GROW”,

 Drugi to ładne drzewko, ma wymiar 10,5 na 11 cm ale możecie również kupić wieksze z Scrap FX.

The second one was a very cute tree, its 10.5 x11 cm big but you can also find another one, much bigger  at Scrap FX!

  

Ostatni to ramka- chain frame

The last one I was working with was a chain frame;

 Dla wszystkich tekturek użyłam tej samej techniki. Bardzo prostej zresztą.

Najpierw pomalowałm je biała farbą akrylową a następnie ciemnym brązem, jasnym brązem i na niebiesko dobierając odcienie do papierów. To dobre rozwiązanie jeśli nie posiadacie dużej ilości tuszy i pudru do embosingu w różnych kolorach. Możecie wybrać każdy rodzaj farbki akrylowej, nawet pożyczyć od dzieci:)

Na koniec użyłam przeźroczystego pudru do embosingu.

For all 3 chipboards I used the same technique. Very simple and easy:).

First I painted all chipboards with white acrylic paint.

Then  painted them with dark brown, brown and blue acrylic paint. This is a great solution if you need your chipboards in different colors and don’t own a heap of colors of embossing or ink. You can use any kind of arylic paint, even borrow some from your children:).

At the end I just use transparent embossing powder.

 Od czasu do czasu nie mam zbyt dużego wyboru określonych papierów.

Czy to problem? I tak i nie:).

Oczywiście przyjemnie jest mieć duży wybór ale jeśłi pracujemy z "vintage" papierami to łatwo jest zrobić kolejne LO nawet z ich małą ilością.

Miałam jeszcze papiery Inkido z Spring Time Collection i kawałek papiery "świątecznego", myślę że wyglądają dobrze w swoim towarzystwie.

Co o tym myślicie?

Every now and again my choice with specific papers is just not so big. Is it a problem? Yes and not:). It`s always nice to have big choice but as long you work with vintage looking papers you can always make new LO with small choice.
I had some Inkido papers from Spring Time collection and some from Christmas collection and I think thay match good!

{HEART} MY HORSE for Scrap FX

As I promised last time at Scrap FX,  I have another LO of my DD and her horse.

I have to share little story about this photo. My DD loves horses and every Summer she spends lots of time with them. This is her favorite one.  One day she woke up and was so happy to find him in our garden, on the photo you can see her “good morning” kiss.

I know when we first think “farm” we can see brown/green pages with rustic style.

I wanted a totally different look, more dreamy and little romantic.

I hope I succeded?
From other pages I have some “leftovers” in the form of two corners (bits n bobs flourish). You have to admit any “leftovers” from Scrap FX are yummy :).

I painted them with silver metalic paint and inked with light blue.

Little fence was painted with white acrylic and then with Ranger crackle paint in brushed pewter.

{HEART} MY HORSE was painted first with acrylic paint (tradition?), then with Distress crackle paint in picket fence and broken china. Mental note to self  (best to heed my advice) – check the date when buying paint! I got a “broken china” especially for this layout, only to find the date at home to be 2007. No wonder it was dry and my crackles are not so pretty!

I made them more shiny and it helped a lot.

I mostly scrap my DD`s photos.

Boys don`t like to spend time on the beach in front of the camera, thay play , run, throw the ball.

This time I decided to make a page about me and my Son. He know I love him very much but why not to show him again....

Since I love old Webster pages I use it again,  a mix of few collections and a beautiful tag from Marivic get me started with not typical color for me , red.

A pretty tag for DT TTM with Inkido .

I know , tags have some specific shapes...

Not this one. I liked the little piece from my April kit that I used for my layout so I traced it and used it again as my tag's shape.

I cut the same shape from 12 x 12 "Well Worn Wood" paper. I also pained it a little with white and Sailing SKY Acrylic Paint, distressed the edges and inked them with Ranger Disterss Ink in faded jeans.

Next I fussy cut flowers from "Meet Me in the Meadow" 12x12 paper.  I can not wait to go back to use this one again... I already have an idea for my next layout with it.  I also inked the eges and added it to my tag.

I used one of the pretty images from Inkido, distressed it and inked with a small piece of paper under.

The Promise , DT LO for Scrap FX with Inkido

Moja śliczna kuzynka przysłała mi swoje zdjęcie ślubne i z przyjemnością umieściłam je na moim nowym LO.

Pamiętam jej wspaniałe wesele, pokaz zdjęć na poprawinach i jestem pewna że jeszcze niejedno z nich użyję.

Jako tytuł wystąpił napis "The Promise" z Scrap FX.

Pomalowałam go zielona akrylową farbą a literkę "o"/pierścionek srebrną metaliczną , w miejsce diamentowego oczka nakleiłam świecące "łezki" udające diament.

My beautiful cousin sent me her photo and I was very happy to scrap this one.

I remember a great party and lots of nice photos taken, I`m sure I will scrap some more.

This time I used “The Promise” chipboard wordlet.

I painted it with green acrylic paint but the letter “o”/ring I painted with silver metallic paint and used some sparkles  to pretend they are diamonds:).

I only used green papers  and some lace/flowers from Papercraft Scandinavia, stamp from Tattered Angels and Prima mask from TTM.

I wanted this page to focus on the most beautiful photo and altered chipboard.

Do LO wycięłam kwiaty z zielonych papierow z Papercraft Scandinavia, użyłam stempla z Tattered Angels i maski Prima z TTM.

Chciałam aby uwaga skupiała się na pięknym zdjęciu i pomalowanej i embosowanej tekturce z  Scrap FX.
